During the Eastbourne Festival, the gyg took part in The Circumnavigation event at The Redoubt Fortress. This event was an exhibition of local contemporary artists responses to the fort. Alongside director Clare Whistler the gyg created Navigators  - a site specific performance to feature in the event. The piece was performed in April 2009.

The performances spanned across a weekend and were incredibly well received.
